How do you distinguish between friend and lover?
Both give you compassion, sympathy and cover.

I do not know which one you want to be.
That is why I am afraid to say what you are to me.

I thought that time would tell the meaning of your heart,
But it has been months and my ideas are still at the start.

I love you so much, I don't know what to say.
Should I pursue you now or should I stay.

You are my best, if not only, friend on this earth,
And you might just be what I have been waiting for since birth.

I am afraid of being wrong, for I need you so much.
For you can heal my heart with one simple touch.

I am not asking you for a no or a yes.
These are just the feelings that I must confess.
